Delete My Data

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Good news: deleting your VetOtter data is entirely in your hands. VetOtter has no accounts and keeps your pets' records in a database on your phone, not on our servers. There is nothing for us to delete on a server, and you never need our permission to erase your data.

1

Delete one pet

Open VetOtter and go to the pet's profile. Tap Delete pet and confirm. This permanently removes that pet's profile, health records, reminders, training progress and photos from your device.

2

Delete everything

Open VetOtter and go to More. Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete My Data, then confirm. This erases all pets, records, reminders, cached vet results and settings stored by the app, returning it to a fresh install state.

3

Uninstall the app

Uninstalling VetOtter removes all of the app's local data from your phone. The app is configured so Android's cloud backup does not keep a copy of your records either.

Backups and exports you made

If you used the app's export or backup feature, those files are stored wherever you chose to save or share them (for example your Downloads folder, Drive, or email). They belong to you. Delete them from those locations if you no longer want them. We never receive copies of your exports.

Subscription records (Google Play and RevenueCat)

Deleting your app data does not cancel a VetOtter Plus subscription and does not erase purchase records. Google Play and RevenueCat keep transaction records under their own policies and legal obligations. To cancel a subscription, use Google Play, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. If you would like us to request deletion of the subscription identifiers RevenueCat associates with your purchases, email support@vetotter.com from the email address used for the purchase, and we will submit the request.
